This Privacy Policy explains how Screenflow ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you use usescreenflow.com and app.usescreenflow.com (the "Service"). Screenflow acts as the data controller for account and billing data, and as a data processor for the content our customers display on their screens.

1. Data we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we process:

• Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), profile details and, if you sign in with Google, Facebook or X, the identifiers those providers share with us;
• Workspace and billing data: organization name, plan, subscription status and invoicing details processed through our payment providers;
• Content and media: the layouts, playlists, images and videos you upload to run your screens;
• Device data: player identifiers, pairing codes, device status and heartbeat signals;
• Usage data: log data, IP address, browser type and in-app actions used for security and product improvement;
• Support data: messages you send us through contact forms or email.

2. How we use your data

We use personal data to:

• provide, operate and secure the Service, including authentication and device pairing;
• process subscriptions, payments and invoices;
• communicate with you about your account, service changes and security notices;
• monitor performance, prevent abuse and debug issues;
• improve the Service based on aggregated usage patterns;
• comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or similar laws (including the Turkish KVKK) apply, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (providing the Service), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), legal obligations (tax and accounting) and consent where required (for example optional marketing emails). You may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Service to work, such as session and authentication cookies, and functional cookies that remember preferences like language. Where we use non-essential cookies, we ask for your consent in accordance with applicable law.

5. Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under data processing agreements, such as cloud hosting and storage providers, payment processors, email delivery services and error monitoring tools. We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights.

6. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

7. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where longer retention is required by law (for example invoicing records).

8. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed passwords, access controls, tenant isolation and regular backups. No system is completely secure; please use a strong, unique password for your account.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
• have inaccurate data corrected and, in certain cases, deleted;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

10. Children

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify you, for example by email or an in-app notice, before they take effect.
